Kenji Komatsu: “Paradise of Follies — Lumpy Village: Ten Portraits”
These ten houses, with their lumpy roofs, come together to form a village, yet there is still a feeling that there is no real dialogue or communication between people who live here. Their inhabitants lock themselves inside all day, only peeking out through tiny windows — perhaps they are deeply engrossed in their work.
I hope you enjoy exploring this bizarre village: the houses are near one another, and yet they each assert their individuality. –Kenji Komatsu
