The metal-forging techniques of Seki have been handed down for many centuries.

Though the city is known for Japanese swords, one of Seki’s big sellers today is kitchen knives for export.

Unfortunately, we didn’t happen across any tools there that would be good for woodworking.

On the other hand, the Feather Museum featured some very cleverly designed and memorable displays.
