Born in Toyama Prefecture. Graduated from the Department of Mathematics of the Tokyo Woman’s Christian University School of Arts and Sciences.
After working in the systems department at Mitsubishi Bank (now MUFJ Bank), she took a position in information-processing education at Takaoka National College/the University of Toyama.
In March of 2018, she retired from the university, and became the vice representative of By Hand Wood Workshop, in charge of general affairs and IT.
Her life’s work is to provide IT support to senior citizens and people with disabilities in the region.

Found by the company’s representative on a snowy day in February of 2007, shivering under the firewood rack, and given the name Nora.
Nora Komatsu is in charge of providing comfort and companionship during work.
